Unspoken Truth or Her Perception

The paintings of Youveline Joseph, a Brockton High School Student, were displayed at the Brockton Public Library throughout the month of September 2012. The opening reception was held in the art room of the main library on Tuesday August 21, 2012.

Ms. Joseph was born in Haiti, but raised in Brockton with two other sisters. Her introduction to art classes began at Brockton High School under the tutelage of Mrs. Kelly and Mrs. Sarah Richards. They encouraged her to explore different ideas, include a part of herself in each piece and inspired her to create her best works, leading her to name this exhibit, “Unspoken Truth or Her Perception”. The exhibit ranges from prints and pencil sketches to watercolors and huge paintings.
