| Computer Resources
Computers are available for word processing, to access
reference databases on CD-ROM or online, and for Internet access.
Pages can be printed from all computers.
Word Processing and World Wide Web
Thirty computers are available for word
processing and Internet access at the main library.
There are also study rooms with Internet access for laptop
computers. Childrens Internet computers for patrons in the sixth
grade and under are filtered. Each branch has four computers for
Internet and Word processing as well as a filtered children's Internet and a
children's word processor without Internet access. There are
also programs for spreadsheets and databases. Please present your
library card to the librarian to sign up for 60 minutes of
Internet access. Patrons using the Internet must abide by the
library's Internet Access Policy.
Online Reference Databases
All three library locations have computers with reference database
access. These databases include magazine articles, newspapers, business
information, and various research topics. Many of these
resources can also be searched from home.
