OMG ME TOO!
We should totally make a group where we can all hang together and share our written works of art in a judgment-free environment!
Wait a sec, wait a sec... I actually can do that..... WAIT, EVEN BETTER, I DID DO THAT!
Yes, you read right, the Brockton Public Library has a Teen Creative writing group which is run by the Teen Librarian Nikki. The Teen Creative Writing Group takes place on the LAST Thursday of the month from 3:15 PM to 4:45 PM in the Computer Lab.
During this hour and a half, we will do a brief warm-up writing exercise and then work on our personal projects.
You will never be forced to share your work, but if you want to then even better.
Anyone giving critiques to another's work will have rules to follow as we're trying to help everyone get better, not to hurt each other's feelings.
We can share projects, plot ideas, authors that inspire us, and fanfictions that make us laugh or cry.
Let's get to writing, yeah?
Supplies needed: An Email Address OR a Flash drive.
