Welcome to a place where imaginations soar!

The library offers many materials and activities for children of all ages. The children's collection includes a variety of fun and interesting books, sound recordings, DVDs and magazines, in Spanish, Portuguese, French, and several other languages.

Children’s Room Hours

Mondays Tuesdays- 12pm-8pm

Wednesdays-9am-8pm

Thursday-Saturday- 9am-5pm

 Children's Room Policies

  • -Adults in the children’s room must be accompanied by a child or actively selecting items to check out.
  •  Unaccompanied adults may not sit alone or use computers in the children’s room. 
  • Parents are responsible for the supervision and behavior of their young children. 
  • Children under the age of 12 may not be left alone in the library building.

Children's Library Card

To obtain a youth library card for children to Grade 6, fill out the Child Application Form (PDF).

Children through grade six may receive a library card when they are able to print their first and last name or are at least in kindergarten. A parent, grandparent, or legal guardian/foster parent must be present and show identification with a current address. The application must be signed by the adult.

Lost Cards

Patrons must present identification for a replacement card.

  • Students - High School ID or official school paper
  • Children - Parent present with ID
